Mission
 
V. Pardue-Edwards mission is to explore ways that key programs and practices can be applied and strengthened through program development that emphasize the functional roles for neighborhoods, residents and community stakeholders. V. Pardue-Edwards is committed to applying restorative strategies in communities through research and cooperation with residents, communities, organizations, institutions and how all of these relate to neighborhood defined priorities.

V. Pardue-Edwards provides consulting services and program support to communities, local governments, foundations, and nonprofit agencies. V. Pardue-Edwards assists in identifying and putting into action solutions and strategies vital to making communities stronger.

Most importantly, V. Pardue-Edwards work continues to be motivated by the same three questions:

   What are the strategies that every community needs to flourish?

   What information and tools do communities need to develop their outcomes on challenges and opportunities?

   How can we inspire, prepare and organize more local leaders to take active roles in their community?

·        " Building community capability  is the heart of my work and the core of my programs. I engage directly with community groups to support an asset-based community  program and progressive efforts. I lead and facilitate in an array of local initiatves and projects to provide support, tools and resources.

·         Using a community-based participatory approach, I partner with community residents and other local entities to conduct research and apply programs that helps prepare neighborhoods to  bring into being their own community objectives. I also work with neighborhood groups, non-profits, city agencies and an array of other institutions to evaluate and apply asset-based community improvement projects, addressing neighborhoods total wellbeing.
